- What is Google Fast Pair?

Google Fast Pair is a convenient feature that allows for simple and fast pairing on compatible Android devices (from Android 6 with Google software). After bringing the Blue BYRD (2nd gen.) earphones to pairing mode, your playback device will recognize it and show it on a pop-up screen. Then simply confirm it and the pairing is done. This saves you from going through Bluetooth® menu settings.

+ How can I find my Blue BYRD (2nd generation) when lost?

This is possible as part of the Google services. Pair your Blue BYRD (2nd gen.) via Google Fast Pair. Disconnect it, if it had been paired conventionally before and re-pair it again with Google Fast Pair. Go to your Google account (Android system settings) and to "devices and sharing", there to "Devices", then you'll find the "Blue Byrd (2nd gen." under "Saved devices". Your name is derived from your Google account. Here you can make your Blue BYRD ring or find it at it's latest position. (Not available on iOS devices)

+ How can I use the Blue BYRD (2nd generation) during charging?

While using the earphones with Bluetooth®, you can connect them with the included USB cable to a USB port and have them charged at the same time. Unlike many competitor models, the Blue BYRD (2nd generation) doesn't switch off during charging.

+ Is the Blue BYRD (2nd generation) compatible with iOS and Android devices?

Yes, Blue BYRD (2nd generation) is compatible with playback devices with both operating systems. As MFi-certified headphones, they work seamlessly with iOS devices. On Android, Google Fast Pair offers several convenience functions, including a quick and easy pairing solution and a service to find lost earbuds.
