I gave this watch to my wife since she wanted to have a stylish watch, but at the same time something close to a smart watch to track steps and other activities.

For some reason though, she velieves there's something wrong with th touchscreen, it's like it's very sensible sometimes and other times it's not.

A feature that would have been great to add to the software of the watch could've been a simple stop watch, but other than that, it's a great watch.

I was looking for a wrist watch that also happened to be a fitness tracker. This watch looks great. What wasn't apparent and immediately disappointing is that the the touch screen is only a fraction of the the watch face. It is hard to read and hard to tap/swipe. I stopped trying to interact with it.
It is also frustrating to see the battery %. It is near impossible to find that information so trying to keep it charged is more challenging. Luckily the batter life is days so I just blindly recharged every 3 days.
After several months the hands of watched were out of sync. So I had to rely on tapping the screen to see the digital display of the time.
Then I got a new phone. I couldn't get it to sync via Bluetooth with the new phone. By this time the watch was out of warranty so I just threw it away after owning it 13 months.

I was very excited about getting this Garmin Vivomove 3. I've been saving money for a few months now to splurge on it and was very excited when I got it.

Overall I gave this watch/fitness tracker three stars. The watch is great, and I haven't any real problems with that aspect.

The touch screen is a bit hit or miss, and most of the time miss. I think I would've loved this even more if the touch screen better.

The battery life is poor, which is very disappointing. It can last maybe 2 days at most at full charge, I've ended up just keeping a portable battery charger with me and the charging cable whenever I get the low battery message.

The "large" band barely fit around the wrist. Granted, I'm a big boy, but I also had to spend a few extra bucks to get a larger band that wasn't from Garmin.

I will say, I really do enjoy the App, and the connectability with my Health Insurance (Humana) is great.

Disappointed with this watch. Had a Garmin vivioactive for 7 years prior and was pleased, so decided to stick with Garmin. To change it up, I opted for analog watch face that "hides" the widgets until activated...but who knew that you would have to calibrate the arms of the watch MULTIPLE times per day to even use the watch face like a watch! The digital component is about impossible to read when you are outside and the app does not have an option to adjust contrast. Overall, this watch is merely a pedometer and not even a watch. Highly disappointed in Garmin (and myself for missing the return window for this purchase). Even contacted Garmin support directly and their only solution is to offer 20% off a new watch.

I thought I would really like this watch based on the first month or so but its been more and more frustrating.
-The battery life is short and i get no indication that its dead or going to die (I did at first but 3 months in I don't)
-the watch hands never sync up to the actual time so that function is useless (you can manually move them but it doesn't last)
-the notifications on my phone dont have any sort of description and are worded the same (if I even get them)

      Short review: would definitely recommend!

Absolutely amazing watch. After doing a bit of research I decided to go for this hybrid watch as it wasn't too expensive (Amazon prime day offer) compared to the level up (£300).
It looks great, just like a classic watch which is what I was after, as I really don't like the look of the sporty/smart watches.
Used it on 2 runs so far and in conjunction with the app it's very accurate and gives you alot more detail than I was expecting for a hybrid. Seamlessly pairs with my Strava and MyFitnessPal keeping everything up to date. And notifications are easily set to your preference.
So far very happy with this watch and had no problems whatsoever. Look forward to getting more straps to suit different outfits.

1.0 out of 5 stars Battery issues
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on December 12, 2023
I purchased this watch as a gift for my wife. It spent a few weeks on the shelf before the date arrived to give it to her (post delivery of out little girl) initially the watch was set up and all was fine.
My wife noticed the battery life was not too long (2 days max) and consulted with a friend who has the same watch, we thought it may be down to a lot of monitoring of vitals running concurrently and tried to alter settings but to no avail.
As another week or 2 passed my wife was using the watch to track exercises etc. but the battery would just die randomly in the middle of them despite having been charged the night before, she would plug it back in and then have to realign hands via the app. Also any time the watch would be removed from wrist the battery would die or hands would need to be realigned again.
All in all the watch is not operating properly, she no longer wears it and it's now basically a £200 paper weight.
It cannot be returned as it's outside the 30day returns policy window and I am finding it very difficult to get this resolved.
Watch bought on 17th sept 23, delivered 28th September 23, first opened mid October, last used early November 23.
