Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
So I bought this cable for the loss less audio but as most reviews mention this cable very thin, too thin if you ask me and not nearly long enough. I added photos to compare this cable with an apple lightning cable for comparison. I would say that using this cable to use your headphones in wired mode is out of the question, the cable is too thin and you’d need an adapter to use with your iPhone.
Overall happy with the purchase. The wire itself is flimsy and terrible for Apple standards, but grateful for the third party seller in selling this at an affordable price.
I got this cord so I could use my AirPods Max with my PS5. Happy to say this cord works! You just plug in the headphone Jack part of the cord into the controller and the lightning part into the headphones. I personally don’t think that this cord is worth $35 because it feels flimsy and made of cheap material; not the normal material apple cords are made of. I’ll just have to be gentle when handling the cord. But it seems that this is the only cord on the market that works for what I needed it to do.
This cable is odd. Despite having the same ends as a Lightning audio adapter, it costs more and the cable is thinner. I’m not sure what Apple was thinking with this one, considering it was designed for $500 headphones (it should be a braided cable, and thicker) but unfortunately this is needed for a task integral to the AirPods Max. It should be in the box, especially with how low-quality it is.
If you have an AirPods Max and you want to connect to your MacBook Pro or any other device with an audio out, you need this Cable. Unfortunately, you have to pay the Apple Tax because all of the cheaper products on Amazon will not work.
It's overly expensive, but you get what you pay for.
If you have a pair of AirPod Maxes and you want to use them with something that has a headphone jack then this is the cable you have to use. Even Apple’s own little lightning to female audio jack adapters can’t fulfill this task. There is NO competition in this space and I still can’t give it five stars. This cable is thin as hell and I have so little faith in its durability that I ended up buying some heat shrink cable wrap so I could reinforce it a bit.
If anyone would dare stepping into this space with a SLIGHTLY more robust cable I would happily buy one.
Sound thru the wired connection is great. No criticism really just the usual issue of like leaving the cable in will kill your airpods max eventually but anyone who owns them knows this (curse you sleep mode and weird case thing). Lossless audio slaps tho, listening through Apple Music lossless you really can tell.
Lamentablemente son la única opción para usar AirPods Max con cable , y digo lamentable porque el cable no solo es caro si no que se siente frágil y no de acorde a su precio , pero funciona como debería eso si
Worked perfect right away. Just a tip your headphones will need to be charged on some models for the cable to work properly which is probably why some reviewers had trouble. Cable is thin but light and durable and the coating is non-stick so it doesn’t tangle which was great on the plan! Little pricey but worth it to be sure it worked properly.
I haven’t had any problems with it, it works flawlessly, and the AirPods max swap automatically as soon as you plug it it. The cable seems thin and flimsy, especially for the cost, and it seems ludicrous that for such expensive headphones they aren’t in the box.
