    In an age of seemingly ridiculous phone metrics, like screen to body ratio for instance, this phone is comfortable being an outsider. What would you rather have: the thinnest possible bezels, or a set of speakers that are possibly the best ever offered in a phone? How about a choice between a slightly curved screen at the edges that makes the phone look nice but suck to hold and use, or a flat screen that makes finding a decent screen protector possible? This is the theme of the ROG phone 7 (and 6 from what I can tell, as it's my first new phone since my OnePlus 7 pro). The screen's OLED panel is beautiful, and once again, pragmatically uninterrupted with a hole punch selfie cam. Rest assured it still has one, but it's just situated in the "large by today's standards" upper bezel. I vastly prefer a slightly larger bezel when it means the phone can be held easier without accidental input, have excellent speakers, lack a giant unusable hole punch dot for the selfie cam to "hide" inside, and best of all: usher in the return of the notification colored led and *insert angelic music* headphone jack, from days of old. Then when you consider the specs and how it dunks on almost all flagships as far as performance, even the price is under it's competition *cough* s23 ultra for 1300 *cough*. The only phone that holds a candle to this performance wise, has a built in fan (no water or dust proofing), and has dreadful software issues. Doesn't sound very magic to me. All the included software and customization options are optional and very useful. This stands in contrast to the typical bloatware found on Samsung devices. Top it all off with a dual cell 3000mah battery for a total of 6000mah and insane parallel fast charging speed, and you have this chef's kiss of a phone. It works flawlessly on Google fi in the US, so it would work off any other carrier using tmobiles towers for 4 and 5g. The ONLY 2 nitpicky gripes about the phone are that it's outer texture is really slippery, and thus needs a case which is complaint #2. There is a lack of available cases to choose from. I bought every one that wasn't TPU, because let's be honest, tpu cases rarely save a phone from a serious drop. The official Devilcase for the rog7 is my favorite and fits well, but a close second is available here on Amazon. Named guizzcg and has a clear acrylic back panel so you can still see the cool phone accents and lighting through the back as a bonus, to being a good fit and very grippy. That about sums everything up. Barring a catastrophic failure caused by me during an adventure, this phone is my new bae and I look forward to another 5 years, like my OnePlus 7 pro before it.

    I've never had a quicker phone than this. Its specifications are out of this world. The air trigger technology is so cool and I use it in several games. Being able to charge this phone from multiple ports allowed me to keep using a dashboard mounting device I would've had to replace otherwise. There's so many little things the developers thought of that make the ROG phone excellent.

    - This phone is great!! Plays games without breaking a sweat and isn't too hot at all! Tested games like Diablo Immortal and Honkai Star Rail at max settings.

    - It works with my GSM carrier Simple Mobile (T-Mobile Network).

    - The only issue I currently have is being unable to set up Google Pay due to some kind of security issue, it seems this device doesn't meet the "standards" for it. Hopefully it'll get fixed in an update.

    - There is also no expansion slot for an SD card, 512GB should be enough for games though if you purchase that version.

    - Cameras works good imo, I'm not a photographer but it seems better than my Sony Xperia III.

    - Data transfer was extremely easy, just use the USB-C from my other phone, connect it to the ROG 7, transfer all. Done.

    - Seller reached out to me before shipping to ensure I had the correct carrier to match the phone. 5/5 Stars!
