Oh man.. The moment I first saw it, I fell in love with this phone. Absolutely gorgeous. Amazon delivery and the rest are unbeatable so I'll concentrate on the phone.
I hate bricks that take two hands just to type a hello. The bezelless edges and surprisingly slim profile of this phone makes it a charm to use single handedly despite a 5 inch screen. The curved edges makes it so easy to comfortably grab the phone for long periods.
A beautiful display, albeit 720p, looks absolutely classy with the flush curved edges. I was deliberately looking for a phone with a lower resolution as I believe 720p is very much enough for a 5 inch device. I've been using Android since HTC Magic days, I understand the dynamics of the operating system. A bloated screen resolution does nothing but kills the long term usability of your phone as the processor and GPU have to push more pixels. That's like putting 4 gigs of ddr3 ram on an HTPC GPU, basically, Marketing gimmick so they can charge more. I've compared the screen quality next to lots of 1080p phones from Samsung and iPhone 4s with retina and there's no difference.
The SoC is a decent one, not too high end but gets the job done. I agree, you can get much better raw processing power for similar price. However, it's not about the raw power, it's about the whole experience. How optimized the OS is for the hardware. Your everyday Chinese makers suck at that end, so the phones hang, heat up, slow down eventually and what not. Sony, however, has always been a quality maker. That is what decides the effective lifespan of your device, not just raw numbers.

Another thing I noticed when I was benchmarking, this phone's in built storage reads and writes data at a much higher pace than similarly priced Chinese phones with faster SoCs.. That's the kinda thing you can't see or read on spec sheets but make a lot of difference when using the device. Refined internals ftw.

Gaming on this device surprised the socks off me. Nova 3, mc5, asphalt 8, vainglory.. Not a single lag at the highest settings. The secret behind this surprising performance is the 720p screen coupled with a GPU that's built to handle that resolution. The GPU doesn't have to push as many pixels and so it processes frames seamlessly. Try gaming on a similar priced Samsung.. Hello, sideshow. It's all about a balanced hardware.
The camera has Sony export sensors both front & back. Need I say more?

I was worried that battery would suck given its a 2300mah. But I'm surprised to observe decent backup. The secret could again be the unbloated screen resolution and Sony's great optimization.

Only drawback I faced was finding a screen protector for the curves edges. It seems the curve starts early compared to other curved edge devices and so temper glasses find it really hard to stick to the edges and leave that halo effect.. Or maybe I haven't found a quality glass however, I'm aware tempted glass on a curved screen kills the touch experience around the edges. I've found a screen guard that does the job after wasting 500+ bucks.
All in all, it's a great device. With a premium feel. If you prefer a well balanced device that is also stunning to look at and are a sucker for quality, go for it without a doubt you'll absolutely enjoy it. Oh and gamers too.

Phone is overall good for an average user. Performance is as same as of Nexus 5 but camera is really good. The main thing that I love about camera is object tracking feature. Camera is really good. Curved display. Battery disappoints if you are a heavy user. But charges faster takes around one and half hour to fully charge.

If you are paying soo much you better go for moto g5 plus it is very bad and it is very hard to find it’s replacement part and my Xperia died on me and the display is not working and the speaker is very bad and the camera is average and is made of plastic(Body) and and the ram management is bad and the battery performance is very bad and by this I conclude that it is a very bad product and I made a bad choice and I made this choice because it caught my eyes due to its looks so I fell for it because I thought that it was the best looking in this price range so you can also buy the lg Q6 or Q6+ or Moto G5’s plus ;) ✌🏻

So, here's my review after 2 weeks of usage:
Looks: you wont get a better and 'costly' looking phone than this at 15k.
Function: Except for the camera, all other functions are not worth spending 15k on. Heats up like hell! Simple things like a continuous 5/6 camera clicks, or a 1 min phone call, or a 2 min youtube video is enough to heat up the phone. Sometimes, i fear if its gonna explode.
Considering that i'm not a intense phone user, i must say the phone is pretty slow. I have like 10 photos stored in album, and one 9mb app downloaded from playstore, along with a 32gb external mem card (still empty btw). Despite this, the phone takes a few seconds to open things up, like camera, or pdf, for example.
Battery drains like hell (again). 10% battery could be 'magically' sucked out of ur phone within 15mins without even laying ur hands on it. I'm serious.

This phone is truly a 'Beauty without much brain'. It only deserves to be left on a table and its sleek and elegant looks admired upon. But once you start pressing a finger on it, its true colors get revealed.

Update: (After a month's use) : One interesting flaw with this device that i found out is that when u watch a video like on youtube, it starts hanging terribly 5 minutes into the video. The video ofcourse keeps on playing, but you cant do anything else, like exiting from full screen, or adjusting the volume, or pausig the video etc etc. You have to start all over again if u want to make changes, as in, you have to directly press the home screen (coz even the 'back' button hangs) , go back to the browser and close the tab on which you've been watching ur video, and freshly reload the page....from scratch! Quite irritating and sucks out all the fun. This never happened with my previous Xperia C phone. To be honest, as much as i am a fan of Sony, i never expected such a below average performance from one of Sony's products.

Update: After 2months usage. The mobile screen is also very receptive to scratches. By now the curved edges of my phone screen are full of scratches even though i take utmost care not to put keys/sharp objects and phone together in same pocket. That means its not gorilla glass. Some cheap plasticky material.

When i got this device the battery loss was terrible.Even when the phone is idle the battery dropped 2-3% every minute.
But within 4-5 days a big change happened. Yes the battery performance just increased like anything.guys
I played asphalt 8 at MAX settings for 30 MINUTES,the game ran FLAWLESSLY and the battery dropped only by 8%.
20 minutes of youtube took 7-8% and 20 minutes of video(offline) took only 4%.This level of performance is very good for 2300mah battery.
If the sound is low while playing any video (not in youtube) go to options>audio settings>select sound effects> xLOUD option. This will increase the audio output x2 times louder. MUST TRY!!.And camera is also good.
HIT LIKE IF IT HELPED YOU.
