This is a fantastic product. I've tried two different FM transmitters, and this one is by far the best. It fits nicely in the 12V socket (believe it or not, some of them don't fit quite right). It's also quite small. In terms of actual functionality, no FM transmitter is perfect. There is always some type of interference every now and then. Overall, the audio quality is very good and seems to be about the same as SiriusXM, which I also use.
A lot of car FM transmitters have a USB port or two for charging, but I really don't trust them. I only charge my devices with stock chargers from reputable manufacturers or Anker products. This device is equipped with Anker's super-fast PowerIQ system. It's not quite as fast as an Anker wall adapter or even a power bank, but it is definitely one of the fastest ways to charge. Not all chargers are created equal! Many cheaper chargers put out dirty power or force more power into the battery which can cause increased battery degradation over time along with making the phone unnecessarily hot. This, along with other PowerIQ chargers, rival Qualcomm QuickCharge in keeping the device cool while charging it as fast as possible.
Both of the other FM transmitters that I've been using the past few years - one from MPOW (now rebadged to JETech) and one from Otium, the "highest rated" one on amazon have one thing in common. They work fine, but they either have a bright blue LED in the case of the MPOW/JETech or even worse, a bright LCD like the Otium. Additionally, both are quite large so they essentially project the light into your eyes and provide for an odd distraction. The size also makes them difficult to store when not in use. Probably the single *BEST FEATURE* of this device is its size and display. My absolute favorite part is that the display is simple (it just shows the frequency most of the time), it's dark red, and it's DIM! I can't express how nice it is to not notice a bright blue light while driving at night. There are plenty of photos of this device to showcase its size, shape, etc, but I've attached a photo of it in the dark, plugged in to my Saab 9-7x. You can see how dim and unintrusive it is at night. Finally, it is so small that it can be placed in a cup holder when not in use, rather than needing to be tucked away in a glove box or center console.
Most FM transmitters rely on an odd set of poorly designed buttons to change the broadcast frequency. Some even have an odd cheap LCD with an even cheaper interface to navigate to change settings. The app enables real time frequency changing right from your phone. While this isn't something I do often, it is so nice to be able to use the app to do it instead of fiddling with a terrible interface. For my regular commutes, one frequency, 89.7 MHz, works just fine. If you regularly travel to different areas where the same frequency doesn't work for you all the time, you're in luck. The app allows you to change between three frequencies right from the app, all without having to touch the Roav device itself.
Cons:
The app. It's a decent app, but a lot of times, at least on my Google Pixel XL running Android 8.0.0 (Oreo), the app just tells you to plug the device in even when it is already plugged in and playing music. The GPS tracking is nice in theory, but in my few tests, it is about 3 miles off. That being said, I won't take a star off for this because I don't know of anyone who has so much trouble finding his or her car that such a functionality would be regularly needed. Google Maps also has a feature where you can save a parking location, sometimes useful in unfamiliar locations. This is far more accurate than this Roav device. That being said, if you regularly can't remember the general location of where you parked, you probably have other issues and shouldn't be driving at all.
Overall - if you are in the market for a great FM transmitter and/or a great car charger for a fantastic price, look no further. Just don't count on the GPS car finding functionality of the app right now.

**UPDATE**
I called Anker customer service and explained to them what had happened. They were very friendly and did their best to get me a replacement. Waiting for it to arrive in 3 to 5 business days. :)
**PROS**
A. This charger has two ports to charge two devices. One of those ports has their "fast charge feature" which charges 50% or more, faster than all other car chargers I've tried before
B. You can receive calls, pause, rewind, fast forward, skip and repeat songs with the built in controls
C. The installation setup is pretty easy
D. Will save you hundreds of dollars compared to a full bluetooth audio system
E. ANKER CUSTOMER SERVICE ROCKS!
F. Has an FM transmitter, if you need one in case your car does not have one
G. Audio sound and quality is pretty clear especially in music
**CONS**
A. Outgoing audio quality is not very good (everyone that calls me says they have a hard time hearing me and that it sounds strange). I DON'T MIND THIS ISSUE TOO MUCH AS I BARELY MAKE CALLS WHILE DRIVING BUT WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF THERE WAS A FIX.
B. Audio stops for a moment when I connect a cable to the second charging port (the one without the IQ feature on it).
C. When I have a phone charging and try to charge my bluetooth headphones at the same time, I can't hear anything but a hissing sound as if there was an error or as if it crashed (think of DIAL UP sound, remember that?)
Over all, pretty solid piece. I highly recommend it.
The USB fast charging works as expected. And I trust Anker to have put all the control and safety features that almost all cheap chargers lack.
The FM Radio is okay. You have to make presets at various frequencies like 85, 100, 106. For some reason I'll alaways encounter white noise which ruins my experience. So I always have to change it to another frequency far enough from what I can as having the issue.
Car tracking is usually accurate. But it won't update sometimes from my experience. This is honestly a gimmick which is rather useless to me. But it could be a life saver if your car has a keyless push to start feature as that is rather simple to get stolen.
Taking calls seems to be pretty good. I haven't had any issue with the person on the other end hearing me. But I have a phone holder. So I don't know if it's my phones mic or the devices mic being used. But my device sits at my knee level. If it can hear me that well then I guess it's fine.
