If you like flip cover cases then this is a very likeable case. It works well in that when you close the front cover, it protects the screen and the case has a fabric feel which makes this slippery phone easy to hold without adding too much bulk.
The programmable LED cover is a fun novelty that is semi useful. You can program the case to light up some standard images or your own custom basic images when you receive calls or your phone displays other notifications. You can assign specific images for specific callers making it fun. It's more fun than utilitarian.
I've received many "Wows" when showing people this case as it appears to use magic to work. It is some impressive technology to go along with this s9+.
The price is high for a novelty phone case, but it will protect your phone's screen while in your pocket while allowing you to enjoy the beautiful and clear display. If you are like me and don't want to put a semi-clear piece of plastic over your screen to prevent scratching this is a good alternative. With that said don't drop your phone as this case will not offer much protection, especially if it lands on the screen side while you have it open. It will however offer some protection but if you are clumsy and drop your phone all the time get something else.
While the case does have a slot on the inside front cover to insert a card I would not recommend it as the cover will not fully close.
