- Reviewed in the United States on March 4, 2019Color: Navy BlueVerified PurchaseI LOOOOOOOOOOVE IT SO MUCH. The only problem is that the signal in the US is a little flimsy? When I had my other phone the segnal would be great everywhere but this one has problems detecting the signal. While in Mexico it's great, the signal is great everywhere (It does have the dual Sim card, I use it for Mexican and American use). Other than that it's a great phone, great camera. Love it.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 24, 2019Color: Navy BlueVerified PurchaseOkay so first. I bought this knowing that 4G would be unavailable, but from what I have experienced here in WV, the 4G is not dependable anyway. I should also mention that this is a darn fast phone. It has no problems running simultaneous apps. It also has a very exquisite display. The touch function is super sensitive compared to similarly spec'd phones. Took me a hot minute to get use to it.
I am in IT and use this phone all the time, not just for the standard phone/message/email but for accessing PCs with remote software, and downloading software needed to address issues in IT...it all works well.
Now, I added AT&T to this, and have had no issues. A couple of apps that come available for ATT users are not available but I never used them anyway. My only complaint is when I swipe down to access the menu, sometimes Hawei Share comes up instead. So far I have not discovered a way to turn it off, and I do not want or have anything tied to Hawei because I did not need it.
Best budget phone ever. Much more than other 280$ phones.
Will buy again.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 23, 2023Color: Midnight BlackVerified PurchaseBought this and it broke on me, had insurance and they sent me a new one and the one they sent was just as bad.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 28, 2018Color: Navy BlueVerified PurchaseThis phone is ridiculously fast. 6.3" screen at 18:9 ratio is gorgeous. Chipset is Huawei's flagship Kiren 970 and 4gb of ram is more than enough for at least a year, probably 2.
Has NFC, has USBC rapid charging, ips screen and full DRM rights so Netflix/Hulu etc... all work in HD. I chose this over the Pocophone F1 because it has more features although if you are a PubG mobile gamer get the F1.
Camera is good, not as good as the wife's Pixel 2 XL but that's a $1k phone. Besides the Camera, this Honor Play is just as good and has a bigger screen...
Simply put you cannot beat this phone for $275, or even $500. The only phone that gives it legit competition is the Xiaomi Pocophone F1 and that doesn't have NFC, has very limited DRM along with a slew of reported QC issues.
To the bad review about this phone not working with their carrier, the bands it uses are listed in the item description. That's your own fault and your bad review should never have been approved as user error is not the device's fault. I pull 100 down and 30 up on this thing on my carrier so... Yeah...

- Reviewed in the United States on January 12, 2019Color: Navy BlueVerified PurchaseGreat phone. Has alot of features. Voice commands work perfect. Only problem is, i didn't know it at the time, even after adjusting the cellular network APN, It does not work on 4G at MetroPCS nor Cricket wireless. I tried. If 4G does not work on MetroPCS is not going to on. T-Mobile. There's a reason this phone is not sold in the U. S.. If you don't care about 4G, then I recommend this phone. Awesome phone. Settings, themes, features.... Works great. Calls are clear, it just won't connect to 4G data.

4.0 out of 5 stars Spiel, Spaß und Schokolade - das Huawei Honor Play Smartphone

5.0 out of 5 stars Gran desempeño, precio accesible

1.0 out of 5 stars Tras unos meses correctamente, ahora presenta muy mal funcionamiento

5.0 out of 5 stars Mi dispiace Xiaomi, mi son fatto l'amante
Color: Midnight BlackVerified PurchaseOttimo schermo, ottima autonomia, ottimo audio, ottimo tutto. Secondo me è superiore a tutti i Huawei/Honor della fascia media, compreso Honor 10.
