Great tun-ability, Alexa integration is excellent
I'm a big fan of this bulb. It has it all - great Alexa integration, excellent light quality, easy to set up, and easy to control via the app. I especially like that the app comes with pre-set light temperature and brightness and that the app allows for easy scheduling - just set it and forget it! Your light comes on when you want it to. Added bonus is that there is no need for a hub - just plug it in an go for it!

I ordered these on sunday, they showed up on monday with prime 1 day shipping. I installed one inside on a lamp facing the front entrance of our house, and I installed the other in our outside lamp. My goal was to be able to tell alexa "Alexa, turn on the front lights."

The lights themselves feel sturdy, and they're more or less identical in size to a traditional incandescent bulb. They're shorter than standard CFL bulbs (I replaced 2 CFLs, and each both stick out of the boxes that the smart bulbs came in). They feel relatively solid - as solid as you would expect a lightbulb to be.

I am technically inclined, and I found the setup to be relatively easy since i have dealt with IoT devices before. We have a netgear orbi mesh router, which broadcasts both 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz. Given the bulbs supposedly can only connect to 2.4Ghz wireless and can have issues if your phone isn't on the same frequency, I needed to ensure my phone was connected to 2.4Ghz. This could definitely trip up some people, but it isn't that uncommon of an issue with IoT type devices.

I logged into the orbi and temporarily shut off advertising of the 5Ghz SSID. This means only the 2.4Ghz radio was being advertised. I then hopped on my cell phone, and "forgot" my home wireless network (since it was connecting to 5Ghz). I waited about 2 minutes, and then found my home wifi being advertised - only the 2.4Ghz network since the 5Ghz was disabled. I connected my phone, and then ran through the setup. It worked like a charm. After the setup was complete, I re-enabled the 5Ghz SSID advertising.

When the lights are configured correctly, they shift from warm to cold light a few times to let you know they were successfully set up. It's cute, and gets the point across. I added one light as the "living room light" and one as the "front porch light." If you are just wildly clicking through the app, you could miss the fact that you can rename them since it isn't super obvious, so pay attention when you're doing it. Otherwise, you'll end up with a default name like "My Lumos Bulb" or something like that. I'd bet you could change it though.

The eufyhome app was dead simple to install and configure. Adding the devices was easy when I was on the same frequency. I was surprised how responsive the bulbs were to changes in the app - nearly instantaneous (maybe a half second delay, on par with the delay when you press the button on a lutron dimmer).

Adding the devices into alexa was also simple - just enable the eufyhome skill. It prompts you for your login and then it asks to scan your network. At that point both lights were found. I created a new device group called "front lights", and added both of the bulbs. And boom - all set up. The whole process took less than 20 minutes, including switching on and off the 5ghz wireless.

The process was easy enough that I ordered 2 more bulbs to replace belkin wemo "smart" switches we have in our living room and nursery that have given us nothing but trouble. I may be ordering more as well.

My biggest concern with this product would be folks who don't have the ability to disable 5Ghz on their routers, or who aren't too technically inclined. If you don't know what 2.4Ghz wireless or 5Ghz wireless means, you could be a little unprepared for troubleshooting this device if it doesn't want to connect properly. You may want to order a single bulb and see if it works for you before you dive in completely, or buy your friendly neighborhood computer geek a beer to give you a hand. Or, if you have a really old smart phone, that should work too.

IMO, none of this is the fault of the product. The manufacturer probably couldn't keep it this small and include both a 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz wireless radio, and 2.4Ghz is more ubiquitous. So, I can understand why they made the decision.

Overall, I've been impressed with the product, and so has my wife. She can now tell alexa "alexa, turn off the front lights" when she goes to bed or "turn on the front lights" when she is driving home. Mission accomplished.

I have been using this bulb for a few weeks now, and I am very happy with the functionality it offers for only $20. I have it set up on a schedule to help me wake up in the morning; along with an on and off time you can also set the color and brightness level, and the app makes setting this up very easy. The only small issue I ran into was installing the app, at first it would not install but after I restarted my phone it was fine so it was likely my phone and not the app itself. Definitely recommend this bulb.

I purchased two different brands of smart bulbs to compare which was easier to set up, program to run while we travel out of town, and integrate with Amazon's Echo.
The Eufy's app was much simpler to navigate to make adjustments to scheduling on/off functions day to day. I'm not sure how useful the "random" setting would actually be, as we found that the light might turn on for 10 minutes or so, then turn itself off for an extended period of time. It seems to make more sense to just set it day to day. This option allows you to set times minute to minute with various times each day of the week. You can then monitor the performance of the bulb and make adjustments from your phone even when not at home.
The LIFX smart bulb's app was useful in letting you know the status of the bulb, and making adjustments to the light from the app, but I found setting schedules more complicated than the Eufy bulb.
Both bulbs set up fairly easily with Amazon's Alexa.
I ordered both bulbs in white (no colors) and found both to have good setting options (warm, cool, reading, dim etc.) but the LIFX had a really neat flickering option similar to candlelight.
Both bulbs put out less light than I might like and that was the main drawback I found.
The cost of both bulbs was very comparable. Both were well packaged for safe shipping.
Overall, I prefer the Eufy because it is easier to program but either "smart bulb" would be a smart choice.

Setup was very easy... The bulb is responsive and reliable, so far. I have always liked Anker products for their quality and affordability and this seems to continue that trend.

I have not attempted to do voice / Alexa integration or any of that but color tuning, brightness, and scheduling all work wonderfully.

I especially like the setting of a "favorite" color tone/brightness. Pretty cool!

    So far, 5/5 stars.

I have tried in three houses on three networks, I have tried resetting the bulb multiple times, I have tried disconnecting and restarting the router (which is 2.4 GHz), I have tried keeping the bulb, cell phone, and router within 2 feet of one another. The app can find the bulb, goes to 99% of setup, and then fails. According to the app, if none of the things I've already ruled out are the problem, then I have "too many devices" connected already.
I have no other Eufy apps on the network.
I have four Alexa devices and a smartplug (different brand). Eufy, you can't handle that?
And I was stupid enough to buy two of these.
