I had a Fitbit Inspire for years, so when I decided to go with a full watch I avoided an Apple Watch, friends who have or had them were not 100% happy, they are expensive and the battery dies too quickly. So I bought some off brand watch, kept it about 3 days & returned it, didn’t like the functions and those things you want to look for were not on one screen, you had to search for things like steps, heart rate etc. I realized I loved my Fitbit Inspire, why was I not looking at the Fitbit Versa? I’ve had my watch for over a month and I love it, the set-up was easy and with a single swipe, it displays my steps, heart rate, calories burned & date all on one screen, plus it was half the cost of an Apple Watch!! I know I will have my Fitbit Versa watch for years, just like I had my Fitbit Inspire. I highly recommend this watch, it looks good, great functions and so far I only have to charge it once a week.

This review is for anyone wanting to know if they should get an Apple Watch or Fitbit.

My main goal of getting a watch was to track exercise, calories, and heart rate.

I got a Fitbit versa2 first. Then I got my apple watch. Here are pro and cons.

Why Fitbit was better than Apple Watch:
-sleep tracking was more in depth
    -heart rate was live 24/7
-battery life was much longer at 2-3 days
-price was much more budget friendly
-vibrate and loud enough for texts and reminded you if you didn’t open the notification
-I liked the clock face better

Both calculated speed, distance and calories accurately as far as I can tell.

    Apple Watch
    PRO:
-Screen is larger and has a scroll wheel
-Can reply to texts on the watch
-can control your phones music (start/stop, skip etc)
    -tracks swim laps very accurately
-shows you passive and active calories for an exercise
    CONS
-battery life is about 1.5 days
-I truly didn’t love any of the clock faces
-heart rate wasn’t live, it always said “as of xxminutes ago” I wanted to see live right now heart rate
-I think it doesn’t vibrate enough for a text. If you don’t feel it then your only clue is a small red dot on the top center.
-sleep isn’t very accurate. It won’t show me time spent in each sleep stage
-I don’t like the whole rings and such in the activity app. But this is just me I think.

Overall I liked my Apple Watch better than my Fitbit. But if I was on a limited budget I’d go for the fitbit for sure!

I really do like this watch and I like how it collects data and presents the data. It was very accurate and I would have continued to wear this watch for much longer. I bought the watch in July of '22, and one day in December of '23 the watch just stopped working. First the watch screen stopped working, but I could tell by my app that it was still tracking my steps and calories burned, but then it just stopped working all together. The battery was fully charged and the screen no longer worked and it was no longer tracking. I really wish this could be fixed and/or replaced because I really enjoyed this watch. I now have the Versa 4 and I hate it.

I love the Fitbit Versa 2! I think what I love most about it is it's ability to last for days. The only thing that I don't really like is that it's compatibility with apple products ins't that good. I know, if I wanted it to be compatible with my iPhone, I should have bought an apple watch. But that is one thing I would love to see Fitbit do is become more cross compatible. The sleep tracking is really nice. It allows me to really analyze, and see just what's going on with my sleep, and it helps me better my habits. The mobile app is really nice as well. One other thing I don't like is that Alexa does not work unless you have the Fitbit app running in the background. I tend to just always close them out, so it would be nice for it to work, at least basic functions, like set a timer or whats the weather, but it doesn't. All around, I think it's a great watch for really anyone. It's great for those who want to use its exercise features, to track sleep, or to just all around have smart watch. I highly recommend the watch to anyone buying it!

Negative first. Not exactly a 6+ day battery life. Even with very minimal app usage, I get about 4 days. Did a trial on their Snore monitor app, and it wiped out 25% just during a single night! I typically might lose 4-8% at night. It is a beta testing app, so I can’t judge it off that alone, but it gives you an idea of how different apps can affect the battery.
I’ve also been having issues recently with it not responding to my touch for random periods of time. An alarm will go off, and I can’t click the arrow to stop it. I end up having to push the side button and snooze the alarm. Also, when trying to swipe in any direction to get to a menu, it won’t swipe. If I sync it with my app, it starts working again, but it’s becoming more frequent. I also wish Fitbit pay was comparable with more banks. Hopefully, in time. I also wish Fitbit came with Fitbit. Seems silly to have a Fitbit watch that also requires a Fitbit membership to do so many of the activities. Maybe if it was, like, $1.99/month or something. Alexa does a bit less than I hoped, but I also wasn’t aware of the fact that the watch didn’t have a speaker. Only a microphone. So, no sounds. Fitbit Music is Bluetooth with earbuds. For Spotify, you need ear buds still, and your phone needs to be with you. The watch simply allows you to control from your wrist. And, the text reply only works with messages within the Fitbit app, and only Android phones with texts.
Other than these things, I love my watch. Starbucks pay is great. I do like that the alarms are discreet. I hate when I’m in a movie and forget to turn an alarm off. With my son’s meds, I have a few. My watch only vibrates. If I forget, it just vibrates during a movie. I also like the workout function. Works great with Weight Watchers Activity Tracking. I love the heart rate tracker, accurate calorie burn count, and water-proof capabilities, even though I haven’t used it in water yet. I’ve seen a few complaints about the lack of water-proof, but remember that water-proof does not mean no matter what. Read the water-care instructions thoroughly. My aunt does water aerobics weekly, and her watch is still fine.

This is a product I have bought and played around with

The Fitbit Versa 2 is the sister watch to Versa 1 and Versa 3, I choice to go with this watch because the Fitbit brand has always been one that seems reliable, as I am a stay at home mom in college for PSW and just buying a watch for 300$ wasnt in the cards for me, so when an offer came up for paying 45$ for 5 months I couldn't turn it down.
Now being a mom of a Newborn and a 10 year old buts not always easy to get to my phone and hey what mom doesn't want to get back in to shape after having a baby. So I was looking around for a smart watch that would do the things I needed, but wouldn't break my bank.
So let's break this down, first the Design
*This watch is thin and light weight
*you can personalize the home screen to give it a little more you, with being able to add a new screen interface like Samsung theme, there are free ones and ones you pay for. There is also ones that will change your always on screen.
*easy to change bands with all different styles are great prices
*screen protectors at a good price and all different colors
*easy to read apps and clear display
*use to use charger, its ones with a little dock that the watch clips in to. But you can't have some screen protectors on when using it, thou that's not a big deal as there easy to remove and put back on.

Now the tech part of it
*app is easy to use and put your info in, it's easy to find what you need and looking for, the only thing that threw me was where the update was when it showed on the screen I didn't click it, the update however is in the help spot in the settings so now I know its easy to find
The apps are changeable on screen to what you use most, and even for women it has the Period tracker so if your trying to get pregnant also shows you fertility times.
This watch keeps track of your heart rate, your sleep, your steps, and more
You can also pair it with a smart scale that isn't a fitbit brand(make sure you check compatible first before buying third party) but it was all easy to set up and connect. And being a mom this watch makes Alarms right on my wrist, text messaging is great cause I can reply, open it to pop up on my phone, or just close it.
There is also a subscription you can pay for, right now it offered 90 days free for me, for get Premium access with workout videos and few other perks, but you don't have to have it to enjoy the other watch has to offer.
The battery life is actually really good for the fact I have the light on all the time(which you can put it in to sleep mode so your always on screen and notifications do not show durning a time at night) I stick it on the charger before I go to bed it takes maybe 30 mins to an hour to be fully charged and will last me from when I go to bed till I put it on the charger the next night, cause I use the alarms and clock durning night time feeds for my little one.
So what didn't I like, well over all for someone wanting a fitbit the price is a little up there for paying 300$ out right for, but if you can get a deal then it's one to have. I would have loved to have got the Versa 3 or Sense one but for the price it wasn't in my budget, I would also have liked to seen when you get a phone call you could are threw the phone, when you send a text you can use a the mic so I would have thought you could use the phone call but no it just opens the call on your phone, so maybe if you hook a Bluetooth ear piece it might work, will have to see.
Also one problem I have is I am Canadian and my bank won't link to the wallet , I even tried my capital one credit even thou its on the list and it didn't work. So anything on it, like clocks guess they won't get money from me.
Now I didnt try to water resistance part of it cause like any tech I don't like pushing it when it comes to watch and how much you pay for the watch.
Over all I would recommend this watch to anyone looking to keep track of losing weight, who is in the go and makes it hard to always keep a phone in hand, and wants a smart watch that is thin and light I have a small wrist and it sits nice on me.
So I hope this helped anyone looking in to this watch

5.0 out of 5 stars Soddisfacente soprattutto per tracciare gli allenamenti

    - utilizzo di Spotify dal cellulare solo per premium;
    - non possibile rispondere dall’orologio per IOS;
    - Alexa necessità di una continua vicinanza del telefono;
    - a volte necessità di essere sincronizzato più volte per il trasferimento dei dati.
