I won't go into all the details but suffice it to say I have tried and compared all of these top of the line buds (my husband has Bose, my sister Apple, and I bought and sent back the Sennheiser) and in a head to head, JayBird provided the best experience;
Stellar sound!
Great battery life - though, it should be noted that the battery life of the case and the phones themselves don't last nearly as long as the original Vista's due to the ANC. This is to be expected of course, but it took some getting used to to train myself to charge them more regularly.
Connectivity - Others have cited issues with this but I have had a FLAWLESS experience with connectivity. I use these with my iPhone 11 Pro, my Apple watch and my iPad Air 2. It remembers all of my devices and it's easy to switch between them like when I want to go for a walk but leave my phone at home and listen to a book or music on my apple watch. I have never had signal drop randomly and I get more than enough distance from the bluetooth.
ANC/Surround sense - I love that my buds now have ANC, and it's pretty darn good for ear buds! I also love how easy it is to toggle between ANC and surround sense by tapping twice. That being said, I almost NEVER use them in surround sense mode because I just don't care for the sound. I love that it's there and it can most definitely come in handy in certain situations, but I just don't really use it.
COMFORT! - This might be one of the biggest reasons I bought Vista vs any other brand. These are the only buds that not only fit snuggly in my ears using the interchangeable pieces but are comfortable for LONG WEAR! They are light weight, small and don't push, pull, tug or bother my sensitive inner ears at all! If comfort is your biggest driving factor, then you should buy these without question.
Durability - I knew Jaybird made good products as I've been buying their buds for years, but they have truly outdone themselves with the Vista 2 in the "life proof" department. I wear these hiking, running, working out, in my sauna, etc. They have been rained on and dropped and still look, feel and work like new.
Controls - I love the intuitive and customizable controls of these buds. They are very user friendly, as is the app.
In summary, the Jaybird Vista 2 is at the very top of the industry standard when it comes to true wireless ANC earbud technology and the price is VERY fair for what you get. I seriously cannot recommend these enough!
I sincerely hope this review has been helpful to someone else! And yes, I paid full price for them. Feel free to ask any questions!

When it comes to earbuds, I’m primarily looking for two things: great sound quality for music and fit. The sound quality on these rivals any of the top brands I’ve tried (Jabra, Beats Fit Pro, and Bose QC II). I would put these with the best of them (after downloading the app and finding my favorite EQ’s). Straight out of the box is ok, but the app really makes these shine. As far as fit goes, I have one ear that must be weird because I always struggle to keep normal earbuds in my left ear. It’s been a constant frustration until these. Right out of the box these locked in snug and don’t budge. The next closest was the Beats Fit Pro’s. These things have an amazing fit. If you have trouble keeping normal earbuds in then you should give these a try.
Can’t speak too much on call quality. Have only used them once on a call, but I didn’t have any issues nor did the person on the other end mention anything.
Now, if you are primarily looking for the best ANC then these probably aren’t for you. It’s adequate at best and no where close to Bose or Sony. Personally, I don’t particularly care about that. The passive noise cancelling is good enough for me, so the ANC is just an added bonus.
The App is nice. There are a lot of customizations that you can do to find what works best for you. It’s pretty straight forward and easy to use. My favorite part is the EQ’s. There are about 50 different preloaded EQ settings that people have created. It would be almost impossible to go through all of them and not find some settings that you like, but if you do then you can just create your own. Very cool.
I spoke at the outset about the complaints of connectivity issues in some of the Amazon reviews. The only issue I had was when I first took them out of the box. They were completely dead. Not a big issue. I just threw them on the charger for a couple hours and bam, connected right up and have been running great ever since. Have only had these about a week, so I’ll update this at a later time if they start acting wonky but so far so good. In all, I’m very happy with these. Hope this helps anyone who might be considering these.
Now for the not so great. The sound cancellation is... Not amazing. There is active sound cancellation on this product, but it's pretty bad and it chews through battery very quick. Luckily, the passive noise cancellation is pretty good. So just stick with that. There's also a "safety" setting that is meant to actively boost ambient sound. It's... also not so great. I don't really use them for jogging much, but the setting picks up any little metallic twang sound and stabs you in the brain with it, so maybe don't use that one too much either.
But the biggest issue I've had with these is audio calls. I'm often either on discord or the phone, and the hope was that these would make that comfortable and easy. But for the price, the mic is pretty shoddy. It picks up any wind or ambient noise and makes it just about impossible for anyone to hear you.
So why the 4 stars? Well... Despite little issues, these are really good buds. The app is solid and isn't as fidgety as a lot of others. The audio quality is decent, but the eq pushes it to great, and the solid construction, case, and waterproofing push it over the edge for me. They're good. Not perfect, but really, genuinely good. If you're constantly on discord or the phone, stay away, but otherwise it's a good choice for the money.

The product crapped out again at the end of 2022 (bought it March 2022). This time customer service was speedier and more effective and I got my replacements within a couple of weeks.
My conclusion is (after almost a year of ownership): it's really a sub-par build quality for the price, even at around $120 and certainly at almost $200. The sound quality isn't all that great and the connection to devices is painful and doesn't work half the time (especially when switching from one device to the next, which I constantly do). Ergonomically they're great and stay the ear quite well, but what's the point of good ergonomics if the rest of the features are garbage?
TL; DR: Buy Bose.
END OF 2023 UPDATE.
I bought these on March 7th of 2022. After barely 3 months one bud stopped working properly. Called in for a warranty RMA on June 13th and sent all the requested information at the time. Jaybird reached out on June 17th to request additional information that they had already been provided (first red flag).
On June 22nd, they sent a confirmation email saying tha the RMA was approved and the product would be shipped within 2-3 business days (second red flag).
By July 5th, nothing had transpired (no product in sight and no update from the company (third red flag).
On July 11th I called them telling them that I hadn't seen or heard anything and that I was losing patience. Got fed the same corporate drivel that every sub-par customer service department is trained to deliver: apologize and pretend to empathize without actually doing anything about the problem or even spontaneously offering to make it right. I asked for a manager, got fed the same BS.
To be fair, they offered a 25% discount on future product purchases, but I'm never going to buy a product from them again (or from parent company Logitech). I'm not gonna risk getting burnt twice, so their peace offering is worthless to me.
When I asked for them to overnight the replacement as a way to make it to me, all the manager could say was "I can't do that", which we all know means, I'm not willing to do it as it's against company policy, even if said policy goes directly against the interest of the customer.
And then we wonder why Corporations aren't trusted by consumers....
Save yourself some trouble and buy Bose instead. I've had many Bose products and when they crap out, the customer service is outstanding.
Oh, and as for the product? It's OK, has some nice features, but is not nearly good enough to justify either the hefty price tag or the customer service hassle.
AVOID AT ALL COST.
