Great bag for 2 pro DSLR bodies with lens attached with caveats
I have a Think Tank Streetwalker hard drive bag - which worked great as far as carrying 2 cameras with 3 pro zooms. However when I got a 300mm f/2.8 VR II it could not fit that lens (D800 attached) along with 16-35 f/4 and another D800 with 70-200 f/2.8 VR II attached. This one fits well - however the 2 bodies Thinktank has shown in the photo ([...]) fit a little too tight and hard to easily insert/remove. It would have been better if the long rigid central divider would have been half an inch or an inch shorter, while the short non-rigid central divider half an inch to an inch longer to make it easy to insert/remove the camera bodies. As it is I am not sure how the bodies will fit if I add an MB-D12 grip. Have not yet figured out how the RRS versa 24 tripod will fit into the tripod socket. Enough of nit picks - the bag is great otherwise to carry. There are lots of dividers supplied - I believe even more than the Streetwalker Hard Drive - that you can use to create any configuration you like (most bags are not great at different configurations as they do not supply you with enough dividers and its not easy to create your own dividers - example my Lowepro Flipside 300 is a fantastic bag and theoretically should be able to carry 2 D800 bodies one with 16-35 f/4 and other with 70-200 f/4 but cannot due to the lack of dividers to create different configurations). I will still keep my Streetwalker harddrive bag which looks easier to carry around the town - but I believe the occasions will be far lesser.
