Let me start by saying I love the mower overall
4 Stars
Let me start by saying I love the mower overall
Let me start by saying I love the mower overall . It has some flaws but I'd still take this over any gas lawn mower. I have the self propulsion model since I'm mowing up to 1/2 acre it would be alot to mow without some assistance . Unfortunately if you are using self propulsion the entire time it cuts battery life in half which makes since but didn't think about while purchasing. So the 45 minutes all of the sudden turns into 20 minutes if used continuously or if used only when needed like hills and such (which is what I do) then you can squeeze out 30 minutes if your lawn is maintained regularly and isn't super long. It takes around 6 batteries to get through my 1/2 acre of land if maintained. Also no one tells you in reviews that when you go to charge a battery that just came off the mower it needs to cool down for 5-10 minutes before charger will start charging it. This was a big letdown for me as I was hoping to continuously swap batteries until I had finished the lawn. The mower experience is fantastic ! So quiet ( about as loud as a box fan , if a box fan were cutting grass lol)neighbors will be gawking and asking questions.cuts very nice , I'd say just as well as a gas mower.Lastly , I've owned mower for 2 months now and my rear tires are coming off the rims which is very alarming to me since I spent 600 on this mower and I've never heard of this happening on any mower let alone an electric. I'm currently working with snapper to get replacement back drive wheels under warrenty. Oh , one last thing if you have self propulsion and are not using it . The engagement bar will hit you in the fingers hard while mowing . It hurts alot so I have to keep my hands on top of bar away from engagement bar while it's bouncing around .
