At first, I was skeptical about buying used cell phones. However, I needed a phone soon, and I am on a budget, so I did not want to overspend for this phone at brand new. It cost less than half the new version price, so why not, right?
I took the plunge and bought this phone used from Olympic Wireless, mostly because I wanted this particular phone and there weren't too many other options. I did receive comfort knowing that the U.S. version allowed me to claim warranties for several weeks in the case of a return and confirmation that the quality would stand slightly higher than an international version. I had issues with my last cellphone, and I think many of the problems came from its internal build quality. I was surprised by how well the phone looked and acted. I could not tell that the phone was used at all, except for a slight scratch in the upper right corner. With a case, I will not even notice it. The phone setup experience made the phone appear brand new. I have only had the phone for about a week, but, so far, I have tried everything I can think of to test the phone, and so far, all its features work as if it was new. In general, the phone is nice with supercharged speed and vivid seamlessness. So far, anyway.
Sadly, I noticed that the battery drains faster than I expected for a phone with a 4500 mAh battery. It charges faster than I expect, but it should not drain in less than a day with average use. It also gets peculiarly hot, even when I am simply scrolling through simple apps, which attacks the credibility of its "adaptive battery." The last downside is that it came with a cheap charging cable, but that is a minimal fix and nothing unexpected from a used cellphone. I recommend this phone for someone trying to save money on midrange smartphones. Everything about this used phone is the same, except for the unbelievable price they attached to it. Once again, though, its battery may change my mind if anything goes downhill soon.
