Work perfectly
It is two sided sticky rubbery tape like glue. I cut it off two strips about 2" long, placed one under liner in heel and one under the toe part of the liner. After wearing the shoes a bit, I pulled up the toe part up to see the Blu Tack. It had spread out and easily came off my shoe. This stuff is great.
